While clearly not as stunning or desirable as the earlier Riviera’s, like the 65 in Goodfellas, you can still see the lines and authority in this car. The 70′s weren’t kind to American Muscle cars like this with growing emissions and bumper regulations, but the real pain came in cars 1974 and after. This car still has a great presence and with only 15k original miles and a buy-it-now of $16k, looks like a fun 3rd car to cruise in.

While this era of Corvette will likely never appreciate like previous and later platforms will, they’re not exactly a car you’d rather forget altogether like the Mustang II. And for what it is, this car looks pretty nice! 12k original miles and a buy-it-now of less than $17k doesn’t sound too bad. Take a look:

1981 Chevrolet Corvette for sale on eBay

quote from seller’s listing:

This is an all-original 1981 Chevrolet Corvette with only 12K miles. This car has been garaged ever since new — never seen snow. It is registered every summer and driven 100-200 miles per year. No kids, pets, or smokers.

It is white with tan leather interior and has a 350 V8 with rare 4-spd manual transmission. This car has the painted T-tops, A/C, factory 8-track player, power windows, power locks, and power driver’s seat. Mechanically this car is perfect, only issue is the A/C doesn’t work, probably just needs to be charged. There are less than 100 miles on the tires.

Aesthetically, the car has only a few minor imperfections. There is a small paint chip in the nose, some minor scrapes on the driver’s side rear fender by the wheel well, and a small chip next to the driver’s side key hole. These are all shown in the pictures and are barely noticeable unless you are very close to the car.
