Today we have an amazingly original and of course low mileage Fox Body Mustang SVO. These cars were built in response to the growing interest in European sport coupes domestically. The powerplant for these cars is a turbo charged 2.3L 4 cylinder that had it’s first success in the Ford Cosworth Sierra’s, aka Merkur XR4ti domestically. The interior and exterior have distinct differences from the other Mustangs of the day and are easy to spot: double wing in the back, the flat face rims, fresh air intake on the hood, the flush headlights and unique front fascia to name a few.

A must see rare, low mileage, 1 owner 1986 SVO (Special Vehicle Operations) Mustang. This is a 1 owner, garage stored, SVO Mustang with 9,350 original miles. This car was purchased new in 1986 and is the last year the SVO was produced. I have all of the books and information that came with the car. It has been driven only limited miles each year, never in winter or rain. It does not have any rust and is absolutely amazing. It has been stored in a cement floor garage, except when it was drove.The car is in like new condition and I am pretty sure there is not another one like it for sale. I will do my best to explain the car and its condition.
My college roommate had an 88 LX 5.0 with 5 speed. A very fast car but he often remarked that he’d like to have the lighter, better suspended, and better balanced SVO any day.
