What an incredible survivor! The photos really show how well preserved this car really is.
This 4th generation Olds 88 is the value trim level known as the Dynamic. It was the entry level model for an upscale marque. For 1960 it featured a detuned version of the Rocket trim level 371ci motor, sporting only 240hp but allowing it to run on cheaper low octane gas (the Rocket had 315hp).

Having covered only 16,000 miles since new, and having remained in the same family for 50 years, this 1960 Oldsmobile Dynamic 88 “Bubbletop” is truly a time capsule and epitomizes the term “survivor” in every sense of the word. It is entirely original and unrestored, including the paint, chrome, trim, upholstery, carpet, dash, headliner, glass, trunk etc., which are all virtually new. In fact, the upholstery remained covered in plastic from the time the car was brand new until April of 2011, preserving its perfect originality. The removal of the plastic seat covering was photographed and dated, and the original seat covers are included in the sale of the car. The car starts, runs, and drives exactly as one would expect of a vehicle with only 16,000 miles.
The description is particularly short because there are no excuses to offer other than a small crack on the drivers side armrest.
The sale of this Oldsmobile includes the original warranty manual with the original Protect-O-Plate, the original key fob with the dealers name embossed in the leather, the original seat covers, and several receipts for routine maintenance.
